Lessons from Collaborating in International Leadership Studies from Iran

Globalization and increased communications have encouraged researchers to engage in international collaborations that enhance their knowledge opportunities. In this paper, I report the personal experiences, opportunities, benefits, challenges of collaboration from Iran through participation two research leadership topics (ILN project GLOBE 2020). describe opportunities for learning, sharing meeting diverse groups people, connecting extended academic networks arising methodological logistical issues, political events, institutional support, COVID-19 pandemic. conclude policymakers organizations should think about infrastructure financial support improve interactions identify how manage challenges.
